The Creation series is inspired by the 18th century Japanese Zen monk Sengai Gibon’s ink drawing illustrating the act of creation through the simple progression of three fundamental geometric forms--the circle, the triangle, and the square. Philosophical geometry describes the unfolding of each form out of a preceding one as creation mapped by geometry.
